Batch Testing
Our rollstock commitment: a third-party test report with every batch. Discuss the required testing scope and the records linking your order, material and batch.
QUALITY & MATERIAL DOCUMENTATION
Every batch of rollstock comes with a third-party test report.
Understand the material, the tests performed and the scope of the results. We help your team review the documentation relevant to your packaging project.

THE RIGHT RECORD FOR THE RIGHT QUESTION
Our rollstock commitment: a third-party test report with every batch. Discuss the required testing scope and the records linking your order, material and batch.
Sample test reports and supplier statements help your team understand a material. Each report applies to its identified sample and tested portion.
Facility records describe the certified site and activities. Relevant certificates, scope and dates are reviewed for the manufacturing partner selected for your project.
EXISTING MATERIAL REPORTS
Examples from reports commissioned by Encap North America for submitted PET/AL/PE film samples.
These are material report examples, not reports for your future order. The tested portion, methods and conditions are specified in each original report. The summaries below do not replace the complete reports.
The report identifies the tested portion as transparent PE film and references selected tests under US FDA 21 CFR 177.1520.
These are results for the specified PE test portion. They do not establish blanket FDA approval of the complete printed laminate or every food-contact application.
The tested portion is identified as transparent soft solid film. The report includes BPA testing and a separate fluorine measurement.
The report marks the BPA test as Pass under its stated reference criterion and notes that it does not assess actual consumer exposure. The fluorine measurement is not a PFAS-free certification.
Four selected substances were tested in the identified transparent film sample using the laboratory’s HS-GC/MS method.
Not detected means below the method detection limit. These results cover the four listed substances; they are not a claim that every possible solvent is absent.

BEFORE YOUR ORDER
Tell us what you are packaging, how it will be filled and the documentation your team needs. We’ll review the relevant material and manufacturing records with you.
A FEW USEFUL DISTINCTIONS
No. A factory certificate of analysis and a third-party laboratory report are different records. Our stated rollstock commitment is a third-party test report for every batch.
The reports above are examples for previously submitted material samples. Your project’s required tests and documentation should be reviewed before ordering; the examples do not define a universal test panel.
A manufacturing certificate applies to its named site and stated activities. Partner facility certification is not certification of Encap North America or a substitute for material and batch records.
Yes. Share your product, intended packaging use and the records your quality team requests. We can discuss the relevant material reports and supplier documentation for the proposed project.
